We give a helping paw!
We reach beyond species boundaries to ensure a better future for all living creatures
The mission of the Mushika Foundation is to provide financial support to organisations working for the welfare of animals. We achieve this by awarding grants and offering emergency assistance in exceptional cases. We aim to build a network of experts to promote good practices in organisation management and facilitate access to legal advice.
We provide financial grants to organisations dedicated to animal welfare and advocacy.
Our primary focus lies on farm animals, given the magnitude of suffering they endure.
We extend our support to animals raised for fur and those used in laboratories.
Moreover, we are open to partnering with organizations that cater to the needs of pets.
Every animal has a story, and we value each and every one of them.
What do we do?

„You cannot share your life with a dog… or a cat, and not know perfectly well that animals have personalities and minds and feelings.”
— Jane Goodall
In Hinduism, a rat is known as a "Mushika" (Sanskrit for "rat" or "mouse") and is considered the mount of the Hindu god Ganesh. Rats are often associated negatively in many cultures, but as Ganesh's companion, they attain the status of a sacred animal. This underscores the belief that every life, regardless of societal perception, deserves respect and protection. By referencing Hindu texts, we emphasize the universality of our mission in caring for animals, transcending species and cultures.
Every rat deserves its Ganes :)
